Christmas and More!!

The weekend before Christmas Daphne and I went over to a friends house and got to meet little Peetie for the first time. Such a sweet baby and Daphne loved giving him kisses. It is hard to see in this pictures but she is kissing Peetie :)

Everytime I take a picture of Daphne and Nick, Nick mimics Daphne's big open mouth smile. It's kinda funny because I don't think he realizes that he is doing it.

Christmas Cards with Shutterfly

I have been using Shutterfly for several years now. I have always been very happy with their service, prices, and how speedy I recieve my bright orange packages in the mail. I really like the security of knowing that they have a copy of all of my pictures so if my computer were to ever crash or I lost my back of pictures they have them all.

That is why we will be ordering our Christmas cards from Shutterfly. http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationary/christmas-photo-cards. We really should have a picture of our whole family this year for our christmas card but it just seems too hard to set up a time to have someone take all of our picture together. So if I am going to order them in time for Christmas it will just have to be Daphne and Elton. Good thing they are both photogenic.

I love using Shutterfly's design tools to create a calendar every year. http://www.shutterfly.com/calendars. I usually use various pictures of Elton that I have taken throughout the year but this years calendar will be of him and Daphne and I am really excited with how it turned out.

Shutterfly has photo and stationary options for their cards and I have used both. I used the stationary for Daphne's birth announcement and then the photo option for Daphne's first birthday invitation. http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationary/birthday-invitations.

So with all that being said....I can't wait to recieve my next orange package in the mail with our christmas cards!

Snow....Bridget....and more

We got a little bit of snow at our house the other day and so we decided to see what Daphne thought of it. We were shocked first of all that she kept her mittens on. She seemed to like it. I am sure there will be more opportunities this winter to explore the snow.

Daphne has been pretty good about not touching the tree after being told no a few times. However she did pick up this present and then shake her head no the whole time she held it like she knew she wasn't supposed to have it.

We got a new couch a couple of weeks ago and Elton hates it! It is higher than our old couch and he doesn't like the texture of it. He will usually only lay on a blanket on it. The other night we came home and since there wasn't a blanket on the couch for him to lay on he resorted to this pillow. He is trying to get his whole body on the pillow so he doesn't have to touch the couch. Such a silly dog we have :)

Daphne got this little baby for her birthday and has been carrying it around ever since. It is the perfect size and she likes to occasionally chew on her hands and feet. It is really cute how she crawls around with her. Nick asked her what her babies name is and she mumbled something that he thought sounded like Bridget so her name has offically become Bridget. If you ask her where Bridget is she will look for her.

Birthday Girl!

On Thanksgiving day Daphne will be ONE! It is so hard to believe that she will be one already. This last weekend we had a party for her at the Salem Riverfront Carousel. It was a wonderful day to get to spend time with some great friends and family. I don't have a whole lot of pictures from her party but hopefully will get some from some of the other people who took them. But here are what I have. She wasn't quite sure what to think of the carousel.

Eating her cupcake....actually she wouldn't eat any of it but she destroyed it and then chewed on the wrapper. Still fun to watch.
