Feeling better and making up for lost time

Poor Daphne had a rough month of a cold followed by ear infection followed by stomach flu followed by ear infection. Oh, and she got a tooth during this time as well. But thankfully she is feeling much better and back to her old self. So she has been making up for her lost time and is walking all over. She has been learning what different animals say and will make noises for cow, dog, snake, bee and she will pound her chest for gorilla. She loves giving kisses! Elton gets probably the most....too bad he appreciates them the least. She is learning so faxt now and it is really fun to be able to teach her so many things. She even blew bubbles in the bath tub for the first time last night. Walking around talking on her phone.

I love this one with her hands on her hips. I am sure she will be trying to boss Elton around in no time.

It is kind of hard to get many pictures of her these days with her keeping so busy walking around. I end up with alot of pictures of the back of her head.

Oh, and I should mention that Daphne is walking. Not alot but she just started standing up in the middle of the room and then will walk over to a toy and plop down. I am sure she will perfect her new skill over the next few days and be running before we know it.

Christmas and More!!

The weekend before Christmas Daphne and I went over to a friends house and got to meet little Peetie for the first time. Such a sweet baby and Daphne loved giving him kisses. It is hard to see in this pictures but she is kissing Peetie :)

Everytime I take a picture of Daphne and Nick, Nick mimics Daphne's big open mouth smile. It's kinda funny because I don't think he realizes that he is doing it.

Christmas Cards with Shutterfly

I have been using Shutterfly for several years now. I have always been very happy with their service, prices, and how speedy I recieve my bright orange packages in the mail. I really like the security of knowing that they have a copy of all of my pictures so if my computer were to ever crash or I lost my back of pictures they have them all.

That is why we will be ordering our Christmas cards from Shutterfly. http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationary/christmas-photo-cards. We really should have a picture of our whole family this year for our christmas card but it just seems too hard to set up a time to have someone take all of our picture together. So if I am going to order them in time for Christmas it will just have to be Daphne and Elton. Good thing they are both photogenic.

I love using Shutterfly's design tools to create a calendar every year. http://www.shutterfly.com/calendars. I usually use various pictures of Elton that I have taken throughout the year but this years calendar will be of him and Daphne and I am really excited with how it turned out.

Shutterfly has photo and stationary options for their cards and I have used both. I used the stationary for Daphne's birth announcement and then the photo option for Daphne's first birthday invitation. http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationary/birthday-invitations.

So with all that being said....I can't wait to recieve my next orange package in the mail with our christmas cards!
