A Week Off!

Nick and I both took this last week off from work. With both of us working full time and taking care of Daphne it was time for a much needed break to just hang out and spend some family time together. We started off our week with a trip to the coast, we went to Hood River for the day, visited a pumpkin patch, and ended the week with a visit from Grandma. The weather could not have been better all week. With a neck pillow at the beach house
First time playing in the sand on the beach. We were in Pacific City and the sun was going down while we watched Daphne play. So beautiful!

This bird was pecking on the window at the beach house. Daphne enjoyed watching him. I think he might have remembered that Nick was feeding him the morning before.

When we were walking around Hood River Daphne decided to start playing peek a boo in her stroller. It was really cute to see her keep hiding and then peeking around from her stroller.

We went to a pumpkin patch and picked out a few to take home. Daphne was pretty distracted with all that was going on around her to get many good pictures but here are a couple.

Reading with Grammy. Daphne is really starting to like to be read to.

End of September Pictures

Here are some pictures from the end of september. Daphne in the last few weeks has changed so much. She is crawling all over the place and standing herself up to everything too. Definitly keeping us busy. She also got her first little red wagon from a friend that I work with. Daphne loves it! I think she enjoys it so much because she can look all around her unlike the stroller where her view is a little limited.

She loves being pushed in the laundry basket but wears momma out!

Little Red Wagon!

Huge Teddybear

Nick came home from work yesturday with this HUGE teddybear for Daphne. I was worried that she might be affraid of it since Elton was but she wasn't. She likes to crawl over to it and touch it....it is really soft. She also like to grab it's big nose. A friend had an idea to take her picture infront of it as she grows which I thought was a great idea. So here are the first Teddy pictures.

Some September Pictures

Hanging out at the park. She loves watching the kids.

Good shot of her two teeth!

Sticking her tonue out...seems to be a regular occurance these days.

Getting into my closet and playing with my shoes.

Trying to take her picture in a cute little fall outfit but she was more interested in the cat walking across the fence.

Pony Tail

Daphne finally has enough hair that if I can catch her at the right moment so that she will let me I can put a ponytail in her hair. She has been quite the busy body lately working on perfecting her crawling and starting to try and pull herself up on things. She officially has her two bottom teeth and we are pretty sure she is working on some more. Her favorite new thing to do is drink from a cup...when we hold it of coarse. She won't use a sippy cup....just likes to chew on it.

Baby-Q and more!

We went to a Baby-Q today at a friends house that I work with. Their little guy is 3 months old and so they decided to have a baby friendly BBQ. It was alot of fun and Daphne really enjoyed seeing all of the other babies. There were a couple 3 months, 5 months, 10 months, a year, and even a couple 3 year olds. Before the Baby-Q pictures are just some recent photos.

Playing in the morning while I get ready. Don't worry that bugger sucker is one that has never been used. It just ocupies her so that I can get ready.

She LOVES her swing!!! She actually likes to go really high and she will squeel with excitement. You can even see the wind blow her hair, it is really cute.

At the Baby-Q with baby Dashiel.

I love this one with the little guy crawling in the back ground. He was chaising the cats most of the time.

Trying to get a picture with all of the the little ones. A bit of a challenge.
