Hello 2!

For Daphne's second birthday, which was the day after Thanksgiving, we decided to go over to the coast. A good friend of ours and his two boys came with us and Daphne had an absolute blast.

Here she is in her hiding spot for a little game of hide and seek with Ryan. She had a little bit of help from me for this spot. Walking Elton around the house before we left for the beach.

Walking around in her new tutu that she calls her favorite dress and her new dress-up shoes. She just did laps around the house only stopping to change shoes here and there.

So these are really out of order so bare with me...
Dressing herself or attmpting to has been huge lately. Here she is trying to put on every shirt she owns.
But this is usually about as far as she gets.

Cleaning out her first pumkin.

We went to the Pumpkin Regatta in tualatin and here is Daphne sitting on one of the many huge pumpkins. The biggest one that they weighed in was 1800 pounds. They carve these out and then sit in them as they race across the lake. They have to use a forklift to transport them around.

Her costume from last year with different tights. Surprised I was able to squeeze her in it.

Yes, they are both asleep. Elton woke up to eat and then crawled back in bed with Daphne.

Getting ready for Halloween. She did so good going from house to house and saying trick or treat. As soon as we were walking away from one house she would ask to go to annother. A few days later she looked over to a lady shopping in Ross and said "Happy Halloween".

Her favorite part of the night was seeing this kitty in the window at one of the houses. When the guy opened the door she could care less about the candy and kept talking about the cat so he got her out of the window and let her pet it. From then on she kept expecting a cat to be at every house.
