Keeping herself busy!

Daphne has been quite the little busy body lately. Exploring and getting into things. She is not walking yet but she gets around just fine crawling, pulling herself up and walking along furniture. She has been really interested in Elton lately and thankfully Elton has been really good with her as she pats his face and she even crawled over his back one day. However, Nick stopped her right before she bit his ear....I don't think he would have taken to kindly to a nibble on his ear.

Elton wasn't real cooperative for pictures...he just wanted to sit in the chair but I got a few anyways. Our little lady bug was such a trooper. She wore her costume all day long even when we went to Costco. We took her trick or treating to a couple houses and was excited to see someone open the door a little too young to get excited about candy though.

A Week Off!

Nick and I both took this last week off from work. With both of us working full time and taking care of Daphne it was time for a much needed break to just hang out and spend some family time together. We started off our week with a trip to the coast, we went to Hood River for the day, visited a pumpkin patch, and ended the week with a visit from Grandma. First time playing in the sand on the beach. We were in Pacific City and the sun was going down while we watched Daphne play. So beautiful!

This bird was pecking on the window at the beach house. Daphne enjoyed watching him. I think he might have remembered that Nick was feeding him the morning before.

When we were walking around Hood River Daphne decided to start playing peek a boo in her stroller. It was really cute to see her keep hiding and then peeking around from her stroller.

We went to a pumpkin patch and picked out a few to take home. Daphne was pretty distracted with all that was going on around her to get many good pictures but here are a couple.

Reading with Grammy. Daphne is really starting to like to be read to.

End of September Pictures

Here are some pictures from the end of september. Daphne in the last few weeks has changed so much. She is crawling all over the place and standing herself up to everything too. Definitly keeping us busy. She also got her first little red wagon from a friend that I work with. Daphne loves it! I think she enjoys it so much because she can look all around her unlike the stroller where her view is a little limited.

She loves being pushed in the laundry basket but wears momma out!
